Hi! today I going to talk abaut a person I admire in science, I love the idea of talking abaout a person, because in my case, i will talk about a very interesting woman, Lynn Margulis.

Lynn is a biologist, she was born in USA in 1938 and died in 2011. She studied at the University of Chicago and excelled in all him studies. She contributed to the theory of evolution of the eukaryote with the theory of endosymbiosis, that gives an explanation of the origin of eukaryotic cells. Also Lynn contribuited in the area og microbiology, especially in the ecology of microorgansms and their importance. 

The reason why Lynn inspires me, it`s because she had a particular vision abaout of the evolution, she says that evolution has been based on cooperation and not just competition, an innovative look which reminds me that women provide new perspectives that break the traditional ones. Also, that woman are valuable and important in sciencie. Lynn was undoubetdly a biologist whose legacy ins very present.

BLOG POST 4: CHOICE OF TWO TOPICS (CHOOSE ONLY ONE)

Hi! today I going to talk about my favorite food! Is the tortellini, I love it! I like the shape, the taste it has, beside that I always eat them with people I love, for example my mom and my friends,  and beautiful places. The tortellini it`s a pasta of Italian origin,  they are generally round and filled accompanied by sauce. For me the best are the ones with milk cream (I will leave a photo ph them), they`re delicius, I eat them every time i can 

I thing that it’s main ingredients are  flour and eggs, but they sell ready to cook. In that case it`s cooked the same as noodels ( here I realized that I have never done).  About my health and tortellini, we have a good relationship <3, I eat them in fair meansure and so he also managed not get bored  and be able to continue enjoying them. 

My FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

 Today I will talk abour my favorite technoology device. My favorite apparatus it´s the smartphone and in particular mine jeje. I think that I have a cell phone like since I was 12, but the one have now has been with for me 2 years. I love the smartphone because are useful for everthing, you can take everywhere, transfer money, study from him, watch series, etc. Besides you can customize whatever you want, wallpaper, case, call sound. 

 In my case, I use my smartphone mainly to communicate with my mom so she knoes where I am, and study for it, because I always doing many things and PC weighs me down lot. Without my cell phone, I would have to carry my PC everywhere and it would be horrible and my back would hurt all day.

Post 2 > Why did choose my major/Career?

well, I don't know how start, when I was child I wanted  to be ballerina (I can't remember very well actually), also I wanted to be vet, for the simple reason that I love cats. 

While apply to my career, my mind did not have other career, because I felt safe whit my decision <3. I realize now that I love sciena and pedagogy, however, in recent times i like science more.  What me made decide in to take my career, I was what I felt I liked. 

Now, I talkinf about  my experience in the university, has been variable, but I would like to keep all the good things and experiences with me when it comes out. 

when  I begins in the labour market, I would  like a school not so traditional,  when the children feel safe, a place in which are secure about themselves and they are not judge baed on their grades.

Post 1> Who am i?

My name is Josefa, i´m 22 year old and. I was born in San Antonio, a coastal city and I came to Santiago for study´s reason. I´m in Santiago from 2022, but I travel  in the weekends to San Antonio to see my mum. Also I have eight cats, I love them, especially to Sakura, my blind cat, she is different, sweet, smart and funny. 

I´m student of pedagogy in biology and chemistry, currently in the university met many of my friends nowadays.  We both like talk and lunch together during the week. 

I like do pilates and yoga, apart from that I love the cats, they are so sweet. Also I like listening to music, watch shows like Modern Family and grey´s anatomy.
